So...

So I still don't feel that great. I have lost 25lbs and I haven't left my house in weeks...but I still have a lot to be grateful for and I thought it would be good for me to write down a few of them.

Number One: Joe

I am really grateful for Joe. Life has not been easy at our house and he has been nothing but great. I can't even go into our kitchen so Joe literally gets my food for me all day everyday. This experience has shown me how wonderful he really is.

Number Two: A Stateside Phone Number

So on our base in Japan we have home phone numbers that are from the USA. We have a Utah phone number so our family can call without it being really crazy expensive. It is really inexpensive for us as well and has made it life so easy for us in Japan. Family and Friends are only one call away.

Number Three: Friends

I am so grateful for Friends! Since we are so far away from family here it has been amazing to see the friends that are willing to be our family while we are here. We always know that if something goes wrong we have lots of people we can call for help. It is nice to know that people care about you!
Number Four: Facebook/Blogs/E-mail...etc.

I know it is silly but it has been nice to stay slightly connected with the outside world. Not much to say about it... I am just grateful.

Number Five: Baby

Even though I feel awful all the time... and sometimes I am not really sure how I can even move. I am really grateful that we are going to have a little person. This isn't easy but I am really happy that a I am not dying I am just pregnant!

BE GRATEFUL

Oh Kel, I wish you weren't feeling miserable. It has to be hard to have something so exciting be tempered by feeling so awful. I hope the 2nd trimester brings you less sickness.

I don't think blogs, email, and facebook are silly! I love staying connected to everyone that way.
Good job staying positive, girl!! I'm sure it's not easy, but I'm so glad you've got a good guy there to spoil you rotten.
Take good care of yourself and that little baby. And let us know what it is when you find out!!
