Christmas Decor'

We a real tree I was so excited because we always had fake trees at my house because my dad was allergic. We got the tree up and decorated and well I am allergic I feel like my throat is closing off and I can't stop sneezing... we are going to have to move the tree on to the balcony...

Blah! PS I love the nativity we have we got it from Redders for our wedding and I love it. We have more decorations but I didn't take pictures yet.

Thanksgving day!

There was so much food we were all so full... We played games every night! It was a good Thanksgiving! oh ya and the people we went with are PIE CRAZY!! We had at least 15 pies, and

they were all home made... they even had a special pie case that had several layers!

The Cabin!

For Thanksgiving break we went to a military recreation area called Tama Hills. It was so fun We went with about 5 other families and we all had our own cabins! It was so much fun....

Wisdom Teeth!

Yes I recently got my Wisdom Teeth removed. It really wasn't that bad, but it still wasn't fun.

I got my hair cut... I don't mind the cut I just don't like how she styled it. I can fix that!

Holiday Season!

OK so since we are in Japan I thought I would share a funny little known fact about Christmas in Japan... On Christmas all KFC'S are full. The Japanese people love KFC I think they think it is all we eat in the states! That is one interesting way to celebrate Christmas!

I am so happy it is the Holiday season. I can't wait for all the fun festive events.

we are going to spend Thanksgiving at Tamma Hills a Military recreation area... we are going to be staying in some of their fun cabins! It will be so awesome!

We are both a little sad because we don't get to be with our families for any of the Holidays but... we are going to make the best of it. We are sharing traditions and figuring out what works best for us... it is amazing how much the small things matter... like whose moms stuffing to make for Thanksgiving. "We might just make both." Anyways I hope everyone enjoys this fun time of year!!

I could not get a picture of the real Fire Truck... we had already caused too many problems!


Well it all started with a shower and ended with 2 fire trucks and 3 police cars... oh ya and a 911 call. Joe took a shower and it was a little too hot and when he opened the door from the bathroom the alarm went off. We knew we had done it from the steam of the shower... so Joe told me to call 911 and tell them what was going on. They told us it was no problem but we still needed to evacuate. When we got outside with all the other people in our building we pretended not to know what was going on. I mean it was 7:20 in the morning and I saw a few babies and little children. OOPS! The worst part for Joe was that because of all of this he missed a really important meeting... Things happen!




This what happens when you have a few parties in one week... Yes this is how the firemen saw our living room... moral of the story clean your house every day just in case there is a Fire!

Our Branch trunk or treat was so fun!! My favorite costume was Mario and Luigi they looked so cool!

I teach a Children's English Class to 13 cute Japanese students. so... I thought it would be fun to have an American Halloween Party.





We had some mis-communications in what to do with the chips and the Pizza... that darn Language barrier.
